BULB Productions is an independent film company creating carefully crafted films outside the traditional studio system.
We work with modest resources, small crews, and real locations — not as a limitation, but as a discipline. Keeping productions lean allows us to focus on what matters most: performance, atmosphere, and story.
We believe films don’t need scale to have impact. Our aim is simple — honest, deliberate filmmaking, made independently and without pretence.

In a Small Town (Working Title) - 2026

In late 2026 we will begin production on our first feature film, In a Small Town (working title).
Set in 1970s Ireland, the story follows former gangster Brendan O’Rourke as he returns from London to a small town in the west of Ireland — a place he once left behind, and one that has not forgotten him.
The film will be shot on location across Ireland and the United Kingdom.
